The compositor

Separate truths become one photograph.

A finished shot may contain a photographed performance, a Lux-rendered world, practical elements, simulated atmosphere, and layers made at different moments. None of them can feel merely placed.

Gate uses the evidence carried by the plate and the digital negative to integrate those contributions photographically. The goal is not a visible effect. The goal is one believable exposure.

Gate makes repeatable image integration systematic while preserving mattes, depth, motion, atmosphere, color, and confidence as reviewable evidence. A compositor can inspect the same construction and take over any shot that needs judgment.

Every layer remains touchable.

Plate, render, matte, depth, contact occlusion, cast shadow, mist, and color are integrated in a defined photographic order. A finished image emerges without flattening away the parts an artist may need to refine.

Optical-flow correspondence, occlusion handling, temporal stabilization, and confidence scoring test the construction across the shot. Clean work continues; uncertain edges are flagged or handed to a compositor instead of being hidden.
