02 / Helion Core / Virtual soundstage

Helion Core

Give the world a stage.

Helion Core assembles the built world into a directed event—performance, action, physics, atmosphere, crowds, and controlled light unfolding in one persistent space.

The virtual soundstage

A world becomes a scene when something happens.

Forge supplies possibility. Core turns it into an event: objects enter relationships, actors move with purpose, weather changes light, and causes leave visible effects.

The stage is headless by design and human whenever direction requires it. The same scene can be rehearsed, revised, observed, and repeated without surrendering its physical history.

One stage / any director

The take can be entered, observed, and revised.

A script, a Scene Architect, a human director, or future Numen can drive the same live world through one control contract. Performance, physics, atmosphere, crowds, sound, and light remain visible parts of the take—not hidden steps.

01 / The stage

A world you can direct from inside or out.

Core is headless when the pipeline needs scale and visible when direction needs judgment. A human can enter the viewer, inspect the same live state, and shape the take through the same control surface used by orchestration.

02 / The rehearsal

Change a cause, preserve the world.

The scene record keeps simulation state rather than a flattened picture. When direction changes one action, causal-cone re-simulation can rebuild what follows from it without needlessly discarding the rest of the take.

Headless does not mean invisible

Core can run at machine scale and still remain a soundstage a filmmaker can enter. The operator may change; the world, its state, and the authority to review the take do not.

System architecture

A deterministic scene that can still be directed.

  1. 01 / WorldCanonical USD

Sets, props, characters, materials, cameras, lights, and scene relationships arrive intact.

  2. 02 / AssembleRuntime scene

ECS organizes the live production state while headless control exposes the stage to direction.

  3. 03 / SimulatePhysical event

Animation, PhysX, navigation, crowds, particles, atmosphere, spatial audio, and light interact.

  4. 04 / PreserveScene record

Deterministic state and causal re-simulation retain the history of each take and revision.

  5. 05 / HandoffStaged scene

Resolved geometry, motion, volumes, lights, and camera state return to USD for photography.

The stage

Assemble. Perform. Rehearse.

01 / Assemble

Bring the world together.

Sets, characters, cameras, weather, spatial audio, crowds, and effects occupy one coherent USD scene.

02 / Perform

Make direction physical.

Action, animation, behavior, navigation, contact, wind, water, atmosphere, and light become observable events.

03 / Rehearse

Revise without losing cause.

Deterministic simulation makes a take repeatable while causal re-simulation preserves what a changed decision should affect.

The handoff

The scene arrives ready to photograph.

Core receives

A world and the direction for what happens inside it.

Mimir coordinates the production context while Core owns the physical event.

Core delivers

A staged scene with its history intact.

Lux receives USD geometry, materials, animation, volumes, lights, and the camera-ready state of the take.
